How to configure cellular WAN EHWIC on a Cisco router

Learn how to configure cellular WAN EHWIC cardsĀ for your Cisco routers. A detailed example is provided along with a diagram that is easy to understand.

configure cellular wan ehwic

Cellular EHWIC cards provide a cellular internet connection for a router. They are useful for sites where you providers don’t have the cabling infrastructure to support your needs, or where a construction cost would be required that would be too expensive.

In this example, we will configure a EWHIC card that is installed in Slot 0 subslot 2 (0/2/0) with an LTE Sim card.
